How do I add an amendment to the contract?
A contract amendment is any change to an existing employee contract. In Salary.lu, you do not create a separate amendment document: the change is recorded directly within the contract. The correct method depends on what is changing.
Choose the right method
There are three ways to amend a contract, each with its own dedicated article:
- Schedule or working hours change – use the "+ Work Schedule" option. See How do I add a new work schedule?

- Any other contract change (contract type, new agreement signed, prolonging a fixed-term contract) – use the "Renew" option. See How do I renew an employee contract?
All three options are accessed the same way: open the employee's profile, go to the "Contract" tab, click the three vertical dots (⋮) next to the active contract, and select the relevant option.
