# How do I register my employee with the CCSS? (with SECUline)

This guide explains how to register a new employee with the CCSS (Joint Social Security Centre) when your company has the SECUline option activated. The registration process automatically sends the entry declaration to CCSS when you have the employee's social security number.

## Step-by-step registration process

### Method 1: During initial contract creation

If you're creating a new employee contract:

1. Log in to your Salary.lu dashboard
2. Go to the "Employees" section
3. Add or access the employee's profile
4. Go to the "Contracts" tab
5. When adding the contract details, scroll to the bottom of the form
6. Check the box "Generate the entry declaration"
7. Complete all required contract information
8. Save the contract

### Method 2: For existing contracts

If the employee already has a contract but wasn't registered with CCSS:

1. Log in to your Salary.lu dashboard
2. Navigate to the "Employees" section
3. Click on the employee you want to register
4. Go to the "Contracts" tab
5. Find the active contract
6. Click on the 3 vertical dots next to the active contract
7. Select "Edit"
8. Scroll down to the bottom of the form
9. Check the box "Generate the entry declaration"
10. Save the changes

## What happens after registration

Once you've completed the registration process:

* SECUline automatically sends the entry declaration to CCSS
* The employee becomes registered in the Luxembourg social security system
* You can begin generating payslips and managing their employment through Salary.lu
* CCSS will process the registration according to their standard timeline
