What if my tax card access request was rejected?

If your tax card access request through MyGuichet.lu was rejected, this typically happens when your company is not yet registered as an employer in the tax administration system. Token requests sent via MyGuichet.lu for a new employer not yet registered by the tax services are automatically rejected.

Here's how to proceed:

For companies with regular employees

Wait for the RTS office to process your employee affiliations

- This typically takes up to 30 working days after employee registration
- The RTS office will handle your company's registration after the first tax card is issued

Wait for postal mail from the tax administration

- You will receive a letter with specific instructions for requesting token access

Submit a new token request through MyGuichet

- Wait at least one week after receiving the postal mail
- Follow the instructions provided in the letter

For companies with only managing partners (independent CCSS status)

If the affiliation concerns a managing partner who is qualified as self-employed for CCSS purposes as the company's sole employee, you need to:

Submit Form 164 first

- Download the form from: ACD Form 164
- Submit it to your local RTS office based on residence: Find your RTS office

Wait at least one week after submitting Form 164
Try the token request again on MyGuichet

- If your request is still rejected, wait until you receive the official letter from the tax administration

Important notes

- The competent RTS office for issuing tax cards depends on the taxpayer's current municipality of residence
- Regular processing time for new employers is approximately 30 working days
- Always ensure all employee information is correctly submitted to avoid further delays
