What if my employee cannot change his email?

Usually changing the email of an employee is done by the employee themselves in their profile settings by following the simple steps here: How do I change my email address on Salary.lu?


When the email change doesn't work


If an employee has created a new account with a new email and then tries to change their actual email by adding the new one, the system will inform them that the new email is already in use.


Solution for employers


In this case, the employer needs to:


  1. Remove the employee's access to the platform by following these steps: How do I remove an employee's access to the platform?
  2. Invite the employee again using the new email address by following these steps: How do I invite employees to access the platform?


This will resolve the conflict and allow the employee to access their account with the new email address.
