How do I disable employees on Salary.lu?

The disable feature allows you to remove employees from the active list when they are no longer working for your company. This includes employees who have resigned, been terminated, or whose contracts have not been renewed after reaching the end date.

When you disable an employee, they are moved from the active employee list to a separate inactive list, making it easier to manage your current workforce while keeping historical records intact.

Steps to disable an employee

To disable an employee in Salary.lu:

  1. Log in to your Salary.lu account
  2. Navigate to the "Employees" section
  3. Click on the name of the employee you want to disable
  4. Once on the employee's profile page, click on the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top right corner
  5. Click the "Disable" button from the dropdown menu

The employee will immediately be moved to the inactive list and will no longer appear in your active employee roster.

The disable button should only be used for employees who are actually no longer working for the company. Employees on sick leave, vacation, or any other temporary leave should remain active in the system.

Disabled employees remain accessible in the system and can be reactivated at any time if needed.
