Please note that if you have your employee's social security number, you can simply write it on the entry form and email it to CCSS at ccss@secu.lu.


If an employee does not have a Luxembourg social security number at the time of affiliation, the employer must follow these steps:

Provide the employee's date of birth:

Enter the employee's date of birth (year, month, day) on the entry declaration form (available here).

Attach a color copy of the employee's ID:

Add a color copy of the employee's identity card or passport to the entry declaration form.

Important points:



The entry declaration form must include the employee's date of birth (year, month, day).
The employer is responsible for attaching a color copy of the employee's identity card or passport to the entry declaration form.
Once the affiliation is registered, both the employee and the employer will receive an automatic confirmation.
Once the affiliation is confirmed, the employee will automatically be assigned a social security number if they do not already have one.

By following these steps, employers can ensure a smooth and efficient registration process for employees who do not yet have a social security number in Luxembourg.
