How do I add a flat-rate allowance (ADEM) for an employee?

The professional reclassification lump-sum allowance is a mandatory payment from the employer to the employee in case of external redeployment decided by the Joint Committee, ranging from 1 to 4 months' salary based on seniority (5 to 20+ years). It is reimbursable by the Employment Fund upon submission of supporting documents.

Follow these steps to add a lump-sum allowance (ADEM) to an employee's payslip:

1. Log in to your Salary.lu account
2. Navigate to the employee's profile
3. Select the "Benefits & more" tab
4. Click "Add benefit"
5. Choose "Lump-sum allowance (ADEM)" from the benefit types
6. Enter the amount in €
7. Set the date in the "From" field
8. Optionally, attach a supporting document in the "Reference" field
9. Click "+ Create"
10. Generate the payslip for the specified month
